Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid\nThis role is contributing to the DCS Engineering function in Automation Process Industries in South East Asia.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nEvaluating, selecting, and applying standard techniques and procedures to perform engineering assignments.\nProviding technical support for testing, installation, and commissioning activities.\nAssisting in preparing proposal/presentation of engineering projects.\nUtilizing checklists to perform design verification according to applicable standards and engineering guidelines.\nOur team dynamics\nYou will join a high performingteam, where you will be able to thrive.\nQualifications for the role\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical or Electronics Engineering with minimum 5 years of experience in DCS project engineering, application programming, and automation projects/services.\nStrong knowledge of DCS, PLC control systems, instrumentation, I/O hardware, variable speed drives, and controller/PLC integration.\nExperience with industrial communication protocols such as Profinet, Profibus, Modbus TCP, and OPC.\nGood understanding of automation project and service execution requirements, preferably within the Pulp, Paper & Fiber industry.\nFamiliarity with ABB 800xA, ABB Control Builder, and ABB Pulp & Paper Library is highly advantageous.\nProficient in Windows Server 2019/2022, Windows 10, and Microsoft Office; knowledge of AutoCAD, Visio, VMware, Hyper-V, or Red Hat Linux is a plus.\nStrong English communication skills with the ability to work effectively in project and customer-facing environments.\nWhat's in it for you?\nWe want you to bring your full self to work-your ideas, your energy, your ambition.
