Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI_Hybrid\nThis role is contributing to the Process Automation business for Process Industries division based in Bangalore, India.\n You will be mainly accountable for:\nWork on end-to-end DCS projects comprising of scope of Automation systems for Metals/Pulp & Paper/Mining/Cement sectors.\n\nWill be part of the team which work on Automation projects. Work on activities of basic and detailed engineering of automation systems including hardware and application programming, testing, Commissioning, and service. Will be responsible for technical deliveries in engineering, testing, commissioning & Service of the systems. Should have good knowledge in Metals/Pulp & Paper/Mining/Cement sectors.\n\nExecution of projects by following the engineering & commissioning workflow as per QMS defined.\n\nPrepare, study and analyse existing system and work on revamp/retrofit solution.\n\nUnderstanding requirements of sub-system and coordinating with other engineering departments in getting it delivered as per application requirement.\n\nEnsure preparation of technical specifications are in line with project specifications signed with customer.\n\nPreparation/approval of basic engineering drawings like SLD, GA, IGA, fabrication drawings etc., in case of building stand-alone drive panels (especially for cranes).\n\nPerform technical review before document submission to ensure that delivered documents are as per the customer technical specification.\n\nQualifications for the role :\nMinimum B.Tech/ B.E/ Diploma from a reputed University with First Class in Electronics & Communication/Electronics & Instrumentation/ Electrical & Electronics engineering.\n\n5 to 6 years of relevant work experience in Automation systems & controls with relevant process experience in Cement /Mining /Metals /Pulp & Pape\n\nKnowledge of DCS/ PLC HW/SW Components\n\nKnowledge of IT/ Network/ Peripherals like UPS, Printer, PC’s, Server components of DCS.\n\nknowledge in application programming & HMI development/ modifications for PLC/ DCS systems for processes like Cement/Mining/Metals/Pulp & Paper .\n\nKnowledge on different communication protocols used between PLC & Drives or in automation.\n\nKnowledge of below ABB systems is added advantage.
