Delivery quality customer service to satisfy customers.\nThe work model for the role is # LI - Hybrid.\nThis role is contributing to the to the Energy Industries in Process Automation business based in Bangalore, India.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nExecute engineering assignments by applying standard engineering practices, procedures, and project execution methodologies.\nGather and analyze customer requirements, identify process gaps, and design effective automation and integration solutions in collaboration with business stakeholders.\nPlan project workflows, estimate engineering effort and costs, and assess technical risks while implementing appropriate mitigation strategies.\nLead testing, installation, commissioning, and overall project delivery activities to ensure successful execution across the project lifecycle.\nCollaborate with cross-functional teams and customers to resolve technical challenges, meet project objectives, and deliver solutions within agreed timelines.\nDrive continuous improvement by standardizing engineering processes, adopting emerging automation technologies, and demonstrating strong leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.\nYou will join a talented team, where you will be able to thrive.\nQualifications for the role:\n4+ years of years of hands-on Process /Safety System Experience predominantly in Application Engineering, HMI,3rd party Communication, FAT and SAT for Process Automation in any of the domains like Oil & Gas/ Refineries /Petrochemicals. Should also have experience in Hardware\nAnalyze customer requirements and deliver automation solutions across Oil & Gas, Refinery, Petrochemical, and related process industry projects and configure and support Process, Safety, Fire & Gas, and Emergency Shutdown Systems while ensuring compliance with industry standards such as IEC 61508, IEC 61511, and NORSOK.\nExecute brownfield projects involving system modifications, retrofits, upgrades, migration, service, and commissioning activities.\nIntegrate and troubleshoot third-party communication protocols such as Modbus, OPC, and other industrial communication interfaces across diverse automation environments.\nCollaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects throughout the lifecycle while leveraging expertise in automation platforms such as ABB 800xA, AC800M, Melody, MOD300, Advant, SG400, and AC500.\nBachelor's Degree in Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, or Electronics & Instrumentation undefined\nMore about us\nABB a provides a comprehensive range of integrated automation, electrical and digital systems and services for customers in the process, hybrid and maritime industries.
