Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nMaintenance Manager__\nResponsibilities\nProgramming and optimizing motion trajectories for welding robots.\nSelecting and configuring process parameters.\nMonitoring the quality of robot-welded joints and eliminating welding defects.\nProgramming, configuring, and commissioning ABB industrial robots.\nIntegrating software with end-effectors (grippers, welding heads) and working with ABB RobotStudio.\nConfiguring industrial communication networks, including PROFINET / PROFIsafe.\nDiagnosing errors in robots and controllers.\nPerforming backups, restoring system configurations, and modifying system settings.\nProviding support in troubleshooting issues on operational production workstations.\nCollaborating with the Production, Quality, Health and Safety, and Maintenance departments.\nRequirements\nA university degree in Engineering, preferably in Automation and Robotics, Mechatronics, or a related field.\nKnowledge of ABB robot programming.\nExperience integrating robots with Siemens PLC control systems.\nKnowledge of industrial communication protocols, e.g. PROFINET and PROFIsafe.\nProfessional experience in a similar position.\nAnalytical thinking, creativity, good communication skills, and attention to detail.\nAbility to work effectively in a team and manage one's own workload.\nAbility to interpret electrical schematics and technical documentation.\nKnowledge of technical drawings.\nNice to Have\nPractical knowledge of welding processes (an International Welding Engineer (IWE) or International Welding Technologist (IWT) qualification is an advantage).\nKnowledge of welding standards (e.g. EN ISO 5817 - quality levels for imperfections in fusion-welded joints).\nFamiliarity with AutoCAD, Microsoft Office, Autodesk Inventor 3D, and SolidWorks.\nEnglish language skills at a communicative level.\nCategory B driving licence.\nExperience working with ABB IRC5 / OmniCore controllers.\nBuilding a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
