Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis Position reports to:\nSenior Engineering ManagerIn this role, you will have the opportunity to perform low to medium complex service tasks including programming, testing, installation & commissioning of Automaton system (DCS/PLC) for Energy Industry. You will be involved in engineering of Automation system & field instruments.\nThe work model for the role is #LI-Hybrid\nThis role is contributing to Process Automation business for Energy Industries division based in Bangalore, India.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nEvaluate, select and applies standard techniques and procedures to perform Engineering assignments in projects.\nAssists in preparing proposal/presentation of service engineering projects/programs.\nIdentify customer (internal or external) requirements, analyze and document as-is process and process interfaces, discover process gaps, design to-be integration in collaboration with business resources.\nCreates work plans and cost estimates in own area of responsibility and ensures quality deliverables on time and within the targeted cost.\nCompletes risk and opportunity assessments and ensures implementation of resulting actions in one’s area of responsibility.\nProvides technical support for testing, installation and commissioning activities.\nCollaborate with business & other IT teams to deliver solutions within timeline\nAssist customer and technical issues, interact with official contracts.\nQualifications for the role:\nBachelor's Degree - Instrumentation Engineering, Electronics & communications\n4-6 years’ experience in Process Automation, especially in the field of Oil & Gas / Refineries / Petrochemicals\nExperience on DCS- Retrofits, Upgrades, Service and Commissioning.\nKnowledge in the system installation, integration of servers and client computers in virtual environment, windows Administration.\nExperience in Virtualization concepts, ESXi Setup, Raid configuration and VMware Configuration.\nWorking knowledge on Managed switches, Routers and Firewalls.\nKnowledge in designing System and Network Hardening and develop Cyber security designs\nExperience in configuring MacAfee epo, WSUS.\nWorking knowledge on Domain configuration and Active directory configuration for larger systems includes defining group policies..\nMore about us\nABB Energy Industries enabling safe, smart and sustainable projects and operations for businesses across the oil, gas, chemicals, life sciences, power generation and water sectors.
