Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nEngineering Manager__\nYour Role and Responsibilities\nWe are now looking for two new Project Engineers to join our team at ABB Oy, Energy Industries unit in Vaasa. In this position you will be responsible for executing and coordinating automation engineering activities for Gas and Diesel Engine Power Plants. We offer you an opportunity to work in a global working environment with electrical/automation customer projects in an expanding project organization. You will have the opportunity to extend your technical skills in different segments and be a part of our young and motivated community.\nWork model for this role: #LI-hybrid\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nPlanning and implementing automation solutions for Gas and Diesel Engine Power plants\nServing as a technical reference for the project team, suppliers and customers\nCollaborating with Project Managers, project team members, customers representatives and other stakeholders to reach project targets.\nContributing to professional and cost-effective project execution in line with contract specifications, budget, quality standards, and safety requirements.\nQualifications for the role:\nB.Sc. in electrical or automation engineering\nExperience of industrial automation systems\nRelevant PLC programming experience, Siemens and/or Schneider PLC experience are preferred\nExperience of piston engine driven power plant automation systems is seen as an advantage\nKnowledge of industrial automation networks is seen as a benefit\nFluent written and spoken English and Swedish or Finnish skills\nAs person you are a collaborative problem solver with your eyes on the target\nBenefits\nOur culture and benefits reflect our values: courage, care, curiosity and collaboration.
