Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nEngineering Manager - Power & Water (부장)__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to act as the technical lead for all engineering activities in assignments. Each day, you will ensure the activities related to all engineering disciplines within the project are executed in an efficient and cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by acting as a design authority for a particular engineering discipline and completing the corresponding engineering assignments.\nThe work model for the role is: Onsite # LI-Onsite\nThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Division. Main stakeholders include project managers, commissioning teams, and client engineering representatives.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nCollaborating on project installation, commissioning, and site activities, to clarify potential issues or provide solutions to rectify the engineering errors.\nCoaching the project engineers and designers on the translation of conceptual designs to engineering documentation, including modelling, prototyping, and calculations.\nLeading, supervising, and coordinating teams (less than 10 members) in all engineering disciplines (both in-house and outsourced) on projects.\nApplying design thinking or design for excellence concepts in projects, including modelling, prototyping, simulation, and calculations.\n Qualifications for the role\nOver 3 years of experience in plant, working as project engineer with DCS or PLC\nStrong knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, engineering(P&ID convert to DCS(PLC) graphic, SAMA convert to DCS(PLC) Logic & Loop), commissioning, and trouble-shooting of DCS(PLC) , HMI, EWS.\nExperience of sub-vendor management, documentation review (vendor prints), and delivering customer training.\nSolid IT knowledge, including server/workstation hardware, operating systems, domain servers, and networking.\nBachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, or related field.\nWillingness and ability to travel frequently to domestic sites (over 60%), occasional international travel.\nBusiness-level proficiency in English (verbal and written) and native-level in Korean fluency.\nMore about us\nABB Energy Industries drives growth for customers while supporting safe, efficient and profitable operations with strong global execution capacity, extensive service footprint, and innovative digital leadership.
