You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result.\nThe work model for the role is: {onsite}\nYou will be mainly accountable for\nProject LeadershipLead the project team, establish the execution approach, and oversee hand-over, execution planning, and monitoring & control of internal and external resources to achieve project goals.\nProvide performance feedback on allocated resources.\n\nInstructions and GuidelinesDrive continuous improvement and simplification; support improving guidelines, tools, and templates.\nEnsure compliance with cyber security regulations, standards, and contractual requirements.\n\nBudget, Sales, and Operations PlanningSupport local Sales and Tendering through early involvement in tenders.\n\n Project Execution and ControlEnsure adherence to execution best practices and ABB policies.\nMonitor and control project progress, resource utilization, and financials (invoicing, cost, expenses, cash flow).\nIdentify, qualify, quantify, and manage project risks; pursue opportunities.\nCapture, analyze, and share lessons learned.\nDrive formal acceptance, contract close-out, and customer acknowledgement per contract.\n\nContract and Claims / Procurement ManagementApply contract and claims management per ABB policies and contractual agreements.\nCoordinate with Supply Chain Management to procure required services, materials, and equipment from internal and external suppliers.\nSupport Procurement and Logistics in supplier negotiations, claims, and project changes.\n\nStakeholder RelationsServe as key customer contact and escalation point for project issues.\nBuild and maintain strong internal and external stakeholder relationships with effective communication.\n\n Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE)Ensure compliance with company HSE policies.\nCreate project HSE Plans and ensure HSE policies and reporting are implemented across all stakeholders, including consortium partners and sub-suppliers.\nDemonstrate actions supporting site safety and consistent HSE performance.\n\nPeople Leadership and DevelopmentLead project team members to meet project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and achieve committed results.\n\nProject RecoveryProactively apply immediate recovery actions to mitigate schedule delays and cost overruns.\n\nPlanning and SchedulingApply scheduling techniques to proactively manage schedule risks and avoid OTD-impacting deviations.\nUse earned value method to manage critical path and float and optimize the schedule.\nForecast schedule accurately, assess tolerance ranges, and identify change requests to drive closure.\nPlan and track all project activities, establish scheduling risks and opportunities, and deliver on time per customer and ABB commitments.\nGuide and collaborate with a project planning and control specialist.\n\nDocument ManagementIdentify and plan all contractual document deliverables and incorporate them into the overall project plan/schedule.\nTrack document progress and follow up on overdue customer comments.\n\nQualifications for the role\nTechnical Education, Bachelor’s Degree or above and major in Engineering with subject of Electrical or Mechanical or other relevant Industrial Engineering fields\n5+ years of work experience in project management or sales engineering\nAnalytical decision making and problem-solving skills are mandatory requirements, as well as ability to quickly adapt to changing situations and work under pressure\nPMP certificate or ABB internal PM certified\nProfessional level ability with MS Office tools and experience in SAP\nFluent in Mandarin and English, both oral and written\nMust be customer-oriented\nStrong sense of responsibility\nGood interpersonal and communication skills\nWilling to travel\nMore about us\nThe Process Industries Division serves the mining, minerals processing, metals, cement, pulp and paper, battery manufacturing, and food and beverage, as well as their associated service industries.
