Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nProject Operations Manager__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium-size projects. Each day, you will ensure that all related activities are executed in accordance with procedures, regulations, standards, specifications and targets. You will also showcase your expertise by leading the project team members to achieve project requirements, deliver contracted deliverables, and meet the committed project result.\nThe work model for the role is: onsite.\nThis role is contributing to the Electrification Distribution Solutions. Main stakeholders are End Users, Contractors and Consultants outside ABB and Local Units and Factories inside ABB.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nLeading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.\nMonitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.\nIdentifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.\nDriving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.\nEnsures that the project follows execution’s best practices and ABB policies.\n Monitors and controls project progress effectively and efficient resource utilization.\nDefines and applies project scheduling techniques to manage schedule risks proactively to avoid possible future schedule deviations with On Time Delivery (OTD) impact.\nApplies earned value method to manage the critical path and project float to optimize the schedule.\nOur team dynamics\nYou will join a motivated and high-performing team, where you will have the opportunity to grow, contribute, and thrive in a collaborative environment.\nQualifications for the role\nYou are highly skilled in project management methodologies and tools and thrive in managing complex projects, coordinating diverse stakeholders, and delivering successful outcomes in Utility, Oil & Gas, Infrastructure and other segments.\nYou bring at least 10 years of project management experience, with a strong track record of leading teams, managing stakeholders, and achieving project objectives.\nYou are passionate about leading teams, managing stakeholder relationships, and driving successful project outcomes through effective communication, collaboration, and problem-solving\nMaster’s degree in engineering\nYou are at ease communicating in English\nWhat's in it for you?\nWe are looking for an experienced and proactive Project Manager to join our motivated and high-performing team.
