Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nHead of Project Management__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of medium to large size and complex E-House, Oil & Gas and Offshore Wind projects with international clients. You will ensure that all related activities are performed in accordance with ABB’s policy, framework, contractual agreements, quality standards, health, safety & environment requirements, financial targets, as well as schedule commitments.\nThe work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid, Onsite #LI-Onsite\nThis role is contributing to the Offshore Solutions Business within the Automation Energy Industries Division and is based in Johor Bahru, Malaysia.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nLeading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing project hand-over, execution planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.\n\nProviding leadership and active involvement in continuous improvement and simplification.\n\nSupporting local Sales and Tendering through early involvement in tenders.\n\nDriving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.\n\nDefining, jointly with Project Controller, all project plan documents, including scope and financial plans, schedule and risk management plans according to ABB management Framework.\n\nOur team dynamics\nYou will join a cohesive, experienced and results-driven team where you will be able to thrive\n Qualifications for the role\nBachelor's degree in Engineering with 10+ years of proven project management experience in complex industrial projects.\n\nDemonstrated expertise in planning, scheduling, and delivery of large-scale E-House, Electrification, and Automation projects within Oil & Gas, Offshore, FPSO, and Renewable Energy sectors.\n\nAdvanced proficiency across multiple functions including Engineering, Supply Chain Management, and Project Controls with strong technical understanding.\n\nExceptional leadership capabilities with proven ability to lead, mentor, and manage diverse, multicultural teams in dynamic international environments.\n\nDemostrated ability in stakeholder management and communication skills with fluency in English and strong presentation capabilities.\n\nIn-depth knowledge of ABB Project Management Framework, quality standards, health, safety & environment (HSE) compliance, and financial management protocols.\n\nStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills with the ability to manage complex technical, logistical, and interpersonal challenges professionally.\n\nCommitment to continuous improvement, innovation, and fostering an inclusive, safety-driven workplace culture.\n\nWhat's in it for you?\nDrive meaningful change in global energy operations.
