You will also showcase your expertise by identifying and cultivating new business opportunities by proactively prospecting, networking.\nThe work model for the role is: Hybrid\nThis role is contributing to the ELSE Application Sales Department\nThis role is also available in French under title (Spécialisted‘application et proposition)\nResponsibilities:\nDeveloping and implementing solutions, product packages, and software applications with your team.\n\nUnderstanding customer needs and requirements and effectively communicating the ability of ABB’s solutions to address those needs.\n\nCoordinating the product demonstrations and presentations to showcase the value and benefits of ABB’s solutions.\n\nEstablish and maintain strong working relationships with other internal engineering teams, business leaders, project managers and stakeholders\n\nInterface with external partners, customers, and other applicable country specific regulatory agencies, as required on technical issues\n\nWork with Advanced Application and functional engineering teams to build estimates and schedules.\n\nSupporting in preparing sales proposals and negotiating contracts to secure new businesses.\n\nProviding leadership and be accountable for delivery of design products solutions within budget\n\nQualifications:\nElectrical engineering degree preferred, and active member of a Professional Engineers association preferred.\n\n5 to 10 Years of commercial and industrial market segment experience with protection and control on MV & LV equipment and switchgear, industry standards ANSI/IEC/CSA\n\nGood working knowledge of LV & MV electrical distribution, and control products.\n\nGood understanding of the customer’s problems, needs and challenges as well as industry-specific knowledge preferred.\n\nGood insights on competitive landscape, competitor’s offering, and competitor’s go-to-market model.\n\nGood capacity to listen with analytical and technical skills.\n\nStrong communication & interpersonal skills with great negotiation and influencing skills.\n\nAutonomous, entrepreneurial & team spirit\n\nProficiency in French is mandatory, as well as English in order to communicate effectively with internal clients and partners located outside of Quebec.\n\nWhy ABB?\nWe empower you to take initiative, challenge ideas, and lead with confidence.
