Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nPlanning & Fulfillment Manager__\nYour Role: Meet the Challenge\n In this role, you will manage the purchasing function for both direct and indirect materials, ensuring alignment with business objectives, operational excellence, and supply chain performance. You will oversee sourcing strategies, supplier relationships, inventory optimization, and cross-functional collaboration to support manufacturing operations and sustainable growth.\nThe work model for the role is: Onsite.\nGlobal relocation and/or long-term assignment (LTA) support is not available for this position.\nThis role is contributing to the Electrification Smart Buildings business line in Ramos Arizpe, partnering closely with Operations, Supply Chain, Planning, Logistics, Finance, and Manufacturing teams.\nKey Responsibilities:\nLead the procurement team responsible for direct and indirect purchasing activities.\nDevelop and execute sourcing strategies aligned with business goals, cost targets, quality requirements, and delivery expectations.\nManage supplier relationships, negotiations, contracts, and performance evaluations.Ensure material availability to support manufacturing operations while maintaining optimal inventory levels.\nManage inventory management initiatives and monitor key supply chain performance indicators.\nCollaborate with Planning, Logistics, Operations, and Finance teams to improve procurement and supply chain performance.\nSupport continuous improvement initiatives focused on cost optimization, supplier development, and process efficiency.\nLeverage SAP tools and reporting capabilities to improve procurement excellence and data-based decision-making.\nIdentify and mitigate supply chain risks to ensure business continuity.\nSupport import and export activities in collaboration with internal and external stakeholders.\nLead, mentor, and develop an effective purchasing team.\nQualifications:\nBachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, International Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.\n5-8 years of experience in direct and indirect procurement within a manufacturing environment.\nDemonstrated leadership experience, including people management and team development.\nExperience working in multinational manufacturing companies.\nSolid knowledge of procurement processes, supplier management, and strategic sourcing.\nExperience managing inventory levels and implementing inventory optimization initiatives.\nPractical experience using SAP for procurement, materials management, and reporting activities.\nAdvanced or fluent verbal and written communication skills in English.\nEffective stakeholder management and cross-functional collaboration skills.\nAbility to work effectively in an onsite manufacturing environment.\nKnowledge of import and export processes.\nNice to have experience\nExperience in electrical, industrial, automation, or manufacturing industries.\nExperience managing procurement transformation or continuous improvement initiatives.\nKnowledge of supply chain planning and logistics processes.\nExperience working with global suppliers and international sourcing strategies.\nWhat benefits we also offer our employees:\nPerformance Bonus\nSaving fund\nPaid parental leave\nLife insurance\nRetirement plan\nHealth and dental insurance\nWellbeing program\nFlex days\nEmployee Assistance Program (PAE)\nAccess to development platforms: Spark, Harvard Manager Mentor and English Learning EF English Live School (EF)\nBuilding a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
