Documenting and updating internal quality procedures\nDevelop, structure, and document internal procedures (SOP - Standard Operating Procedures) for all operational processes.\nEnsure that all procedures accurately reflect actual operations and comply with regulatory and internal requirements.\nWork closely with production supervisors, engineers, and other stakeholders to ensure accuracy in the documented processes.\n2. Design of process flows and flow charts\nMap all operational processes of the company (production, quality, supply chain, engineering, etc.).\nCreate clear, standardized diagrams that comply with best practices.\nIdentify critical points, bottlenecks, and improvement opportunities through flow analysis.\nMaintain a centralized and up-to-date library of all flow diagrams and organizational charts.\n3. Participate in daily tasks of the quality team on the production floor\nObserve and participate in quality control inspections, testing procedures, and compliance checks across production lines.\nLearn to identify non-conformities, document quality issues, and understand corrective action processes.\nGain hands-on experience with quality assurance tools, equipment calibration, and measurement techniques.\nUnderstand key quality metrics, performance indicators, and how they are tracked and reported.\nUnderstand how quality decisions impact production schedules and how the Quality Supervisor collaborates with production teams to resolve issues.\n4. Engineering project involvement and cross-functional collaboration\nSupport ongoing engineering projects across disciplines, including R&D, Manufacturing Engineering, and Production.\nWork alongside multi-disciplinary teams to gain exposure to how different functions contribute to product and process development.\nTake responsibility for defined tasks or small sub-projects under the guidance of senior engineers.\nApply academic and technical knowledge to real engineering challenges in a professional environment.\nParticipate in cross-functional meetings and contribute to problem-solving discussions.\nDevelop an understanding of how engineering decisions are made across the product lifecycle, from design to production.\nRequirements\n· Must be currently enrolled in a co-op bachelor's degree program in Industrial Engineering or a related field, such as Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or Operations Management. (Mandatory)\n· Knowledge of Lean Six Sigma tools and continuous improvement methods.\n· Proficiency with diagram-creation software.\n· Strong analytical skills, technical writing skills, and documentation rigor.\n· Strong communication skills.\n· Motivated by standardization and optimization challenges.\n· Good observation skills and analytical mindset.\n· Ability to collaborate with operators, supervisors, and engineers.\n· Autonomy, curiosity, rigor, and strong organizational skills.\n· French is required.
