Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis Position reports to:\nQuality ManagerYour role and responsibilities (Mandatory)\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to guide and/or support Research and Development (R&D) teams by actively providing solutions and process standards to prevent defects. Each day, you will ensure that products and systems are delivered as per the desired quality. You will also showcase your expertise by extending the guidance/support through the phases of the development process to ensure that the results of each phase adhere to the defined quality standards and meet target dates and budgets.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI Hybrid\nThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Business in Central Qualityteam in Bangalore , India.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nDefining, planning, leading, driving, coordinating, and/or executing all appropriate quality assurance activities.\nAssembling quality assurance activities into a coherent and coordinated plan along the project development phases to ensure the R&D outcome is predictable and meets requirements for quality, scope, timeliness, and cost.\nEnsuring appropriate management of sub-suppliers.\nEncouraging and helping R&D employees to develop skills in Lean 6 Sigma and utilizing related tools during product development.\n Qualifications for the role :\nBachelor’s/Master’s degree in Engineering.\n10 - 15 years of process and quality related experience required\nBusiness continuity management, Information security management, Six Sigma knowledge is a must.\nHaving proficiency in Microsoft office tools such as PowerPoint, excel, word etc.\nKnowledge on Visio, macros, tableau, power bi etc., is a plus.\nHands on implementing quality management system, internal auditing experience with necessary training certification is plus\nPromoting and supporting the deployment of the quality and operational excellence (Quality & OpEx) strategy to accelerate the rate of operational improvement\nSupporting and maintaining the quality management system (QMS) of the local division to drive standardization and consistent execution in delivery of customer requirements with all aspects managed in line with ISO standards (ISO9001, ISO22301 and ISO27001) as well with ABB business area and division guidance\nPlanning, implementation, support including internal audit, management review, external audits, and external certification. \nMore about us (Mandatory)\nABB is a leading global technology company that energizes the transformation of society and industry to achieve a more productive, sustainable future.
