You will champion prevention and continuous improvement, support effective root cause analysis and rapid problem resolution, and ensure solutions deliver lasting results. You will be working in the field, visiting various customer sites in the Houston, TX metro area.\nKey Responsibilities\nSupport specific communication relevant to quality management in your area of responsibility.\nAssist in continuously identifying and addressing risks and opportunities related to quality management in the local organization.\nUtilize quality data analytics from the organization to identify risks, failures, and non-conformances.\nFacilitate resolution of customer cases by following a robust root cause analysis and implementing preventive and corrective actions.\nQualifications\nBachelor’s degree in engineering, quality, manufacturing, or a related technical discipline, or equivalent technical education and relevant experience.\n2 or more years of prior quality engineering experience.\nAbility to read and interpret single-line diagrams, general arrangements, schematics, wiring diagrams, equipment drawings, weld documentation, and inspection/test records.\nWorking knowledge of structured problem solving, NCR/SCAR processes, corrective action, and objective evidence.\nEffective written and verbal communication with suppliers, customers, Engineering, PMO, and field teams.\nCandidates must already have work authorization that would permit them to work for ABB in the US.\nOur Team Dynamics\nOur teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning.
