As lead developer, you will collaborate closely with product owner, architects, release owner and other developers to lead, develop and implement the control safety solutions, including testing and debugging the software, ensuring product quality, and mentoring development team while maintaining hands-on involvement in critical technical decisions.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nUnderstand the customer requirements and propose a possible solution (evaluate alternative solutions based on value, cost, quality, technology, etc.).\nLead the design and development of safety-critical software components for next generation DCS platforms, hands-on involvement in critical module development and code reviews.\nLead problem-solving on complex technical challenges, involve in critical technical decisions on technology selection, frameworks, and development approaches.\nEnsure the quality, performance, and reliability of the solution (code reviews, static code analysis, code coverage, unit tests, etc.).\nEnsure required policies, standards and guidelines are followed (safety, security, open-source, etc.).\nEnsure compliance with safety standards (IEC 61508, functional safety regulations)\nQualifications for the role\nYou hold a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in software development or the equivalent.\nYou have proven experience (10+ years) in R&D, software/product development or a related technical field, with the ability to solve complex problems independently.\nYou have proven experience in backend development using C++/C#, Rust; frontend development using Typescript and React framework.\nYou have professional experience with modern software development practices and technologies such as Kubernetes, unit testing, CI/CD, Azure DevOps, GitHub, and Agile/Scrum methodologies.\nYou are passionate about innovation, problem solving, customer focus, collaboration, and continuous improvement, and you enjoy turning ideas and hypotheses into validated solutions.\nExperience in industrial automation and functional safety development is an asset.\nYou possess strong communication skills and enjoy working with people; you work collaboratively and professionally with other colleagues in cross-functional teams to achieve goals.\nYou communicate fluently in Chinese and English.\nBuilding a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
