We develop and produce UPS (Uninterruptible Power Supplies) for a variety of customers all over the world.\nWe are looking for a senior engineer for the design and development of UPS Products, that define and develop innovative power electronics solutions to fulfill customers’ requirements, within a multi-disciplinary team of electrical, mechanical, thermal and control experts.\nIf you show great interest in Power Electronics and look forward to making the world of power protection change, this is your opportunity to make a remarkable impact.\nWork model: Onsite\nThis role is contributing to the Electrification Power Protection manufacturing department in Quartino.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nDesign and develop power converters.\nSpecify components and define technical requirements with suppliers.\nSupport the overall design cycle of the new product, from simulation to validation and documentation, trough design and test.\nConduct and coordinate complex analyses, develop recommendations based on technology/engineering practices and business considerations.\nSupport operations and after sales organization during trouble shooting phases.\nPlan and coordinate a range of complex technology/engineering activities.\n Qualifications for the role\nMaster in Electrical/Electronics Engineering with focus in Power Electronics or Bachelors Degree in Electrical/Electronics and equivalent work experience.\nProved experience in power semiconductor characteristic, inductors and passive components.\nExperience with power electronic design topologies, knowledge of UPS technology and familiarity with the power protection.\nMastering simulation tools -MATLAB/Simulink, LT Spice- and programming language -C-\nGood communication skills in English, both oral and written.
