You will work closely with sales teams, customers, and internal stakeholders to deliver tailored solutions that meet customer needs and support business growth.\nThis role is Hybrid - 3 days per week\nResponsibilities :\nPrepare competitive and accurate proposals, estimates, and quotations aligned with customer requirements and business objectives.\nDevelop technical, commercial, and financial bid documentation, including pricing, scope, and delivery assumptions.\nCollaborate closely with sales teams, customers, suppliers, and internal stakeholders throughout the proposal process.\nCoordinate bid activities to ensure quality deliverables are completed on time and in accordance with established procedures.\nMaintain complete and accurate proposal documentation, including assumptions, decisions, and bid outcomes.\nIdentify and mitigate commercial, contractual, and project risks, engaging legal and compliance teams when required.\nGather and consolidate technical, commercial, and cost information needed to develop winning proposals.\nBuild strong customer relationships, provide technical support during sales discussions, and ensure a positive customer experience.\nSupport supplier and subcontractor evaluations, working with Supply Chain teams to secure competitive and compliant solutions.\nMonitor proposal performance and capture lessons learned to continuously improve bid quality and win rates.\nQualifications :\n12+ years of experience in industrial automation, digital solutions, solution consulting, proposals, sales, or project execution.\nProven experience managing large, complex, multi-technology bids.\nBachelor of Mechnical, Instrumentation or Electrical engineering\nStrong understanding of digital solutions such as APM, APC/RTO, MES, EMS, Industrial AI, Analytics, Digital IOT technologies, and digital services.\nStrong commercial capability in costing, pricing, margin management, contracts, and risk management.\nExperience in process industries such as Mining, Pulp & Paper, Cement, Metals, Energy, or Chemicals preferred.\nStrong leadership, stakeholder management, negotiation, and executive communication skills.\nAbility to lead cross-functional and geographically distributed teams in a matrix organization.\nKey Success Measures:\nOrder intake and revenue growth\nBid-to-win conversion\nGross/contribution margin improvement\nProposal turnaround time\nCost and pricing accuracy\nOn-time, compliant submissions\nGrowth of software, digital services, and recurring revenue\nReduction in bid-to-execution cost and scope variance\nWhat Success Looks Like\nWinning the right digital opportunities at the right price and margin, while ensuring every proposal is differentiated, competitive, scalable, and executable.\nEmployment Equity & Inclusion Statement (Canada)\nABB values the dedication, commitment, and expertise of all our employees.
