Build long term customer relationships and manage resolution to specific customer needs and issues. Identify and develop sales opportunities.\nThe work model for the role is: Li-Onsite\nThis role is contributing to the ABB India, Electrification Business, Smart Building Low Voltage Products as a Retail Sales Specialist for Ranchi Location.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nSales Planning & Forecasting: Prepare and manage sales plans using company tools, conduct regular performance reviews, and implement recovery plans to address potential order shortfalls.\nGenerate timely offers and convert orders through effective lead management and opportunity funnel tracking in SFDC.\nRevenue & Profitability: Ensure agreed sales volumes and profitable growth by executing an effective and disciplined sales process. Relationship & Collections: Build strong customer relationships to understand needs, deliver end-to-end solutions, ensure a positive sales experience, and manage timely collection of payments and liabilities.\nMarketing & Market Development: Execute efficient marketing activities to communicate value propositions and identify, develop, and capitalize on new market opportunities through cross-functional collaboration.\nQualifications for the role:\nEducation: Graduation / MBA(Sales & Marketing)\nSales Experience: Minimum 7-8 years of overall sales experience, including 3-5 years in Retail sales.\nDemonstrated experience in selling to Distributors & Retailers.\nTerritory Responsibility: Responsible for sales of low-voltage products in Ranchi and surrounding areas.\nCustomer Relationship Management: Build and maintain long-term customer relationships while addressing specific customer needs and resolving issues effectively.\nBusiness Development: Identify and develop new sales opportunities to grow market share and revenue.\nReporting & Compliance: Prepare and submit MIS and sales reports as required, ensuring accurate and timely documentation.\nDemonstrate structured planning, reporting discipline, and alignment with organizational processes.\nMore about us\nABB Smart Buildings enables optimization of energy efficiency, safety, security and comfort for any building type, through new installations or retrofit solutions.
