By joining us now, you’ll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of robotics-working alongside world-class experts in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.\nThis Position reports to:\nHead of Internal AuditThis role sits within the ABB Robotics Global Internal Audit function and works closely with key stakeholders across Data Analytics, IS, Finance, Business Transformation, and the broader business.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI-Hybrid\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nObtaining and preparing data in collaboration with the Data Analytics team, addressing data-accuracy and completeness issues before further analysis.\nDeveloping and executing repeatable analytics to support operational, financial, and compliance audits, identifying anomalies, patterns, and potential control weaknesses.\nDocumenting analytical methods, assumptions, limitations, and results to ensure analyses are traceable, reproducible, and suitable for use as audit evidence.\nValidating analytical results with audit teams and business stakeholders, and communicating insights clearly through visualizations (dashboards) and concise reporting.\nSupport the development of AI-enabled audit processes, including the automation of audit programs and testing activities\nOur team dynamics\nYou will join a talented, truly international team, where you will be able to thrive.\nQualifications for the Role\nA degree in Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science, Computer Science, Economics, Finance, or a related field.\nAt least 10 years of relevant experience in data analytics or data science, preferably within Internal Audit, risk, controls, or a comparable assurance environment.\nStrong proficiency in Python and SQL, with experience preparing, validating, and analyzing complex datasets.\nA sound understanding of statistical and analytical methods, including clustering, forecasting, and classification.\nExperience translating business risks and audit questions into analytical requirements, and explaining technical results to non-technical stakeholders.\nExperience working with data lakes or cloud data platforms, and visualization tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or equivalent.\nStrong problem-solving, communication, and stakeholder-management skills, with the ability to work independently.\nFluency in written and spoken English.\nAdditional experience that would be an advantage:\nSnowflake and Azure Data Factory.\nMachine-learning tools and techniques, such as XGBoost, LightGBM, and k-means.\nStreamlit or similar tools for presenting analytical results.\nPractical application of AI to analytics or audit activities.\nA relevant master’s degree or postgraduate qualification.\nCompensation Package\nFor Candidates based in Italy:\nAs part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position:\nApplicable CBA: Metalmeccanico\nMinimum annual salary: €67.000\nVariable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus\nBenefits as per policy\nFlexible working hours, hybrid work options, and a strong focus on work-life integration and Wellbeing support for employees and their families\nWelfare plan with a wide range of personalized services\nCanteen or meal vouchers provided\nThe offer will be tailored based on your role location, experience, skills and qualifications, internal market positioning and alignment with ABB internal standards.\nJoin us.
