Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nSales Manager__\nYour role and responsibilities\n In this role you will be responsible for providing technical and sales support for the external sales engineers, customers and channel partners in ABB Variable Speed Drives, Electric Motors, and related products. Generate competitive quotations and tenders using the company quotation tool (CQP), considering customer requirements and best available product mix and appropriate technical & commercial considerations for the enquiries. Communicate and develop good relationships with all stakeholders - Customers, Channel Partners, Internal & External Supplier contacts, Global technical support teams, and own team members. Ensure a positive customer experience throughout the sales and technical support processes.\nThe work model for the role is Hybrid #LI-Hybrid\nThis role is contributing to the Motion Business Area in New Zealand.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\n\nProvide sales and technical support to customers, channel partners, and the sales team, ensuring timely, effective, and high-quality service.\nSupport the sales and application of ABB Variable Speed Drives, Electric Motors, PLCs, harmonic filters, and related products through technical guidance and product selection assistance.\nMaintain and update Salesforce (SFDC) records, including customer information, sales activities, quotations, project opportunities, and pipeline forecasting.\nBuild and strengthen relationships with channel partners to drive business growth and expand market share.\nNegotiate pricing, delivery, and commercial terms with internal and external suppliers to achieve the best outcomes for customers and the business.\nProvide technical support, troubleshoot issues, manage warranty and quality concerns, and escalate customer-reported technical problems to factories when required.\nContribute to continuous improvement by enhancing sales processes, ensuring compliance with company procedures, delivering accurate reporting, and supporting overall business operations.\nOur team dynamics\n You will join a collaborative and results-driven team within ABB's Motion Business Area, where your contributions will directly impact business growth and customer satisfaction.
