By rethinking, rewiring, and improving, we combine the world’s best minds and technologies to elevate performance to a whole new level.\nYour Role and Responsibilities\nSupport products mainly engine/turbine generators.\nConfigure the product mechanically and electrically using the available tools.\nProviding technical and commercial support to LSUs, including sales argumentation (VBS).\nPrepare comments & deviation acc.to customer specification for target projects.\nIn co-operation with GTS optimizing the design in line with customer specification, and to prepare comments and deviations (including argumentation for deviations taken).\nWork as a contact window between sales and factory to secure smooth implementation of target projects.\nManage administrative procedures in sales processes. Continuously contribute to optimize the relevant products/processes.\nGive training to LSUs, account managers and customers.\nMake proposals by fully analyzing market needs and application feature.\nTogether with LSU analyze ABBs competitive situation, define “strategy to win” and quote generators accordingly.\nIn cooperation with LSU develop account plans, and to execute agreed marketing activities.\nStudy and provide product-level competitive analysis report of focused applications.\nProvide feedback to Product Management and R&D.\nQualifications for the Role\nBachelor or master degree in electrical or mechanical engineering.\nExperience in electrical machine design is preferred.\nAbility to create structural drawings is a plus.\nFluent English, both written and spoken.\nExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to develop and manage effective working relationships at all levels. \nEnthusiastic, innovative and able to change.\nAbility to work globally within different cultures. \nBenefits\nABB offers a full range of benefits to help you thrive at work and beyond.\nMore about us\nThe High power Division offers a comprehensive product portfolio of large AC motors and generators.
