Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nTesting Manager - Firmware & applications__\nYour role and responsibilities\nWe are now looking for an experienced DevOps Engineer to join our DevOps team at ABB Drive Products. In this position, you will be a part of our DevOps team maintaining and developing a common delivery pipeline for our in-house embedded firmware development teams. As a DevOps engineer you ensure that firmware build, testing and release activities can be effectively executed every day while identifying improvement opportunities in delivery pipeline. This role is located in Helsinki, Finland. You will be working in a global software development organization of over 100 developers and testers.\nThe work model for the role is: hybrid.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nManaging and developing continuous integration build infra-architecture globally for embedded firmware\nImproving and creating key metrics, such as lead time and deployment frequency\nSupporting cybersecurity experts with e.g. code signing, security testing, and scans in build pipelines\nActing as the link between development and operations organizations (incl. manufacturing), coordinating with production testers, software, and project teams\nDeveloping your management and communication skills by coaching engineers working with different products, projects, and teams\nWorking and networking with engineering colleagues, disseminating best practices\nQualifications for the role\nSolid experience with CI/CD infrastructure, working for example as DevOps or IS systems engineer with CI/CD, cloud and virtualization technologies, such as Azure DevOps, Ansible, Artifactory, Jenkins, Terraform, Kubernetes, and Helm\nPrevious DevOps expertise on senior level\nExperience in establishing new practices and ways of working across organizational boundaries\nExperience from working with embedded systems, for example, as test automation engineer or from electronics projects is beneficial\nWorking knowledge of security is beneficial.
