Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nEngineering Manager__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in challenging industrial electrification and automation projects. Each day, you will complete assignments on small projects or portions of larger projects. You will also showcase your expertise by applying basic design thinking/design for excellence concepts in projects.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid.\nThis role is contributing to the Automation Process Industries division in Zagreb, Croatia.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nExecuting different engineering tasks in electrification and automation projects with main focus to electrical machinery and power electronics (e.g. specifications and electrical schematics related to electric motors, transformers, drives) in metals industry.\n\nWorking closely with the customer to shape and deliver solutions that fit to project requirements. Initiating improvements based on customer's feedback.\n\nCreating work plans and cost estimates in coordination with project managers, for specific projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the budget.\n\nCommissioning of electric motors and drives systems (LV AC and DC drives).\n\nCoordinating with relevant functions (e.g. project manager, quality manager...) to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.\n\nTaking project ownership, being proactive, finding solutions and ensuring project progress.\n\nCoaching engineering colleagues on engineering solutions, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.\n\nYou will join a dynamic, talented, high performing, multidisciplinary team, where you will be able to thrive.\n Qualifications for the role\nYou are highly skilled in electrical engineering, electric machinery, AC and / or DC drives and you have ability to demonstrate your experience (at least 5 years) in engineering and commissioning.\n\nDegree in electrical engineering, automation, mechatronic, robotic or similar area.\n\nYou are familiar with electrical design (using standard design tools as eplan, autocad…), power distribution, network types and grounding systems, automation systems concept (PLC, HMI…).\n\nYou are passionate about electrical machines, power electronics, innovation, new technologies, improvements.\n\nFluent in English language, good written and spoken communication skills\n\nYou hold valid driving license category B.\n\nExperience in metals industry (rolling mills, processing lines, casting lines) is a plus.\n\nWhat's in it for you?\nDynamic and interesting work on international industrial automation projects, combining office work and occasional travel.
