Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nSenior Engineering Manager__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to be a design authority for an engineering discipline. Each day, you will complete assignments on multiple projects of moderate size or portions of major projects in a cost-effective manner. You will also showcase your expertise by ensuring assignments are completed in accordance with contract specifications, quality standards, safety requirements, and cybersecurity policies and standards.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI-hybrid.\nThis role is contributing to the Automation Process Industries division in Zagreb, Croatia.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nHandling specific engineering tasks in industrial electrification and automation projects, mainly in metals industry.\n\nWorking closely with the customer to shape and deliver solutions that fit to project requirements. Initiating improvements based on customer's feedback.\n\nCreating work plans and cost estimates in coordination with project managers, for specific projects and ensuring quality, timely implementation within the budget.\n\nDistribution of specific engineering tasks within the project team, monitoring the progress of execution, detecting critical points and alerting in time.\n\nCoordinating with relevant functions (e.g. project manager, quality manager...) to ensure the designs are appropriately manufactured / staged, tested, installed, and commissioned.\n\nCoaching engineering colleagues on engineering solutions, best practices, and lessons learned from past projects.\n\nTaking project ownership, being proactive, finding solutions and ensuring project progress.\n\nYou will join a dynamic, talented, high performing, multidisciplinary team, where you will be able to thrive.\n Qualifications for the role\nYou are highly skilled in industrial automation (PLC programming and similar) or electrical drives (frequency converters), you enjoy working with new technologies.\n\nYou hold a degree in Electrical Engineering / Mechatronics / Electronics / Automation or similar.\n\nYou have at least 5 years of experience in industrial automation and electrification projects engineering and commissioning.\n\nUnderstanding of how to read electrical schematics\n\nPossess an enhanced knowledge of electrical engineering and industrial networking.\n\nYou are passionate about innovation, new technologies, improvements. You are open to share the knowledge and like to brainstorm new ideas.\n\nYou are at ease communicating in English language (spoken and written)\n\nYou hold current driving license category B.\n\nExperience in metals industry (rolling mills, processing lines, casting lines) and knowledge of electrical design (autocad, eplan) would be considered plus.\n\nWhat's in it for you?\nDynamic and interesting work on international industrial automation projects, combining office work and occasional travel.
