Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nVerification Manager__\nYour role and responsibilities\nWe are looking for a Senior Verification Engineer to join our team at ABB Oy, High Power division in Pitäjänmäki, Helsinki. Our team is responsible for verification of new frequency converters. We perform R&D and type tests for unreleased high-power, low and medium voltage drives in our world-class R&D laboratories.\nThe work model for the role is: On-site\nYour responsibilities:\nExecuting R&D and type tests for new frequency converters\nBuilding test setups, executing and reporting tests\nSupporting problem solving of frequency converter hardware and software related issues\nWorking in close co-operation with different design teams, approval engineers and authorities\nYour background:\nM.Sc. or B.Sc. in Electrical Engineering\nProven experience in the testing of frequency converters, electrical installation, commissioning or industrial automation systems\nKnowledge of any of the following is considered an advantage:Frequency converter design and control\nPLCs and process automation\nEMC testing\nProduct safety standards of frequency converters\n\nCapability and interest in training and coaching other people\nGood spoken and written skills in Finnish and English are necessary in this role\nWillingness for occasional travelling\nA proactive working attitude\n\nBenefits\nOur culture and benefits reflect our values: courage, care, curiosity and collaboration.
