Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis Position reports to:\nSales ManagerYour Role and Responsibilities\nIn this role, you will execute service work with low to medium complexity in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. You will plan and execute service activities using a first-time-right approach, ensuring superior customer experience and operational excellence\nWork Model - #LI - Onsite\nThis role is contributing to the Automation Division within the Force Measurement , Measurement & Analytics Business Area, in the India Region.\nKey Responsibilities\nPlan and execute service work in accordance with customer requirements, ABB work instructions, quality standards, and safety guidelines, ensuring first-time-right execution and timely completion.\n\nDeliver high-quality customer experience by identifying and resolving technical issues through onsite and remote support, while effectively communicating service timelines, expectations, and recommendations.\n\nEnsure compliance with Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), environmental, and quality requirements, while preparing service documentation, material lists, and customer reports with required sign-offs.\n\nIdentify customer pain points, operational improvement opportunities, and potential service business opportunities, collaborating with sales and account teams to create value for customers.\n\nUtilize ABB service tools and digital solutions effectively, provide technical guidance to service associates, and deliver training to customers and field service personnel when required.\n\nSupport continuous improvement by analyzing equipment and process failures, recommending preventive and corrective actions, and implementing solutions to enhance reliability and performance.\n\nQualifications for the Role\nBachelor’s Degree or Diploma in Electrical, Electronics, Instrumentation, or Mechanical Engineering.\n\n5-8 years of field service experience in Force Measurement products such as Tensiometers, Flatness Control Systems, Thickness Gauges, and Weighing Solutions.\n\nExperience in Metal Industry with sound knowledge of Ferrous and Non-Ferrous processing operations.\n\nExposure to Pulp & Paper Industry, Rolling Mills, Mill Manufacturing (OEMs), or other related process industries.\n\nExtensive technical knowledge in field service execution, troubleshooting, fault diagnosis, technical support, and quality management systems.\n\nGood understanding of Occupational Health & Safety (OHS), regulatory requirements, legal compliance, and industrial safety standards.\n\nProficiency in English with well-developed customer-facing, training, and collaboration skills; experience in CRM/HRM environments and exposure to Steel & Iron Making processes.\n\nMore about us:\nThe Measurement & Analytics Division is among the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers, working at the heart of industrial digital transformation.
