Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nService Team Leader__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.\nThe work model for the role is: Hybrid #LI-Hybrid\nThis role is contributing to the Electrification Servicein Singapore.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nWorking with the customer (while on-site) to identify opportunities to improve the customer’s operations and eliminate pain points.\n\nPerforming field service tasks, identifying technical issues, and performing analysis through remote or on-site activity in service categories and products.\n\nPreparing material lists needed for service activity and ensuring that all materials, parts, and equipment are available and of appropriate quality for service activities.\n\nTroubleshooting equipment/process failures, requesting proactive corrective actions, and making recommendations to avoid such issues in the future.\n\nQualifications for the role\nDiploma or Degree in Electrical Engineering or related field, with solid understanding of power systems and electrical fundamentals.\n\nAbility to read and interpret SLDs, electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and related technical drawings.\n\nStrong analytical and troubleshooting skills, with basic hands-on exposure to electrical testing tools (e.g., multimeter, insulation tester).\n\nComfortable working onsite in industrial environments, following safety standards, procedures, and work instructions.\n\nGood communication skills with a proactive, customer-focused attitude and willingness to learn through hands-on field work.\n\nDue to the nature of the role, we are only open to candidates with full work rights in Singapore.\n\nMore about us\nABB's Service Division partners with our customers to improve the availability, reliability, predictability and sustainability of electrical products and installations.
