Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nSales Support Manager (부장)__\nYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to collaborate in conjunction with the Sales organization and customers throughout the proposal process by preparing technical descriptions of the applied products and technology. Each day, you will determine costs, prepare final documentation, and serve as a key technical resource in the assigned area. You will also showcase your expertise by performing lost proposal analysis, identifying potential cause, and recommending future actions.\nThe work model for the role is: Onsite #LI-onsite\nThis role is contributing to the Energy Industries Division, Automation Business Area in Seoul, South Korea. Main stakeholders include internal stakeholders and external customers withinthe Power & Water Industry.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nSupporting the local Sales organization and customers in determining the most technically appropriate and cost-effective solutions and in the preparation of demanding offers.\n\nPreparing / supporting in the preparation of technical/commercial offers based on customer specification requirements, local business/feeder factory indications, and Sales organization directives.\n\nAnalyzing customer needs and competitor offers through information from general market and the Sales organization.\n\nDefining cost for the proposed solution and communicates it to the Sales organization\n\n Qualifications for the role\nMinimum 8 years of experience in Sales Support\n\nProficiency in Microsoft Excel and experience with proposal management, cost estimation, and tendering tools\n\nProven experience in cost estimation, preferably within automation systems\n\nExperience with automation systems such as DCS, PLC, or related control systems is preferred\n\nBachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering is preferred\n\nStrong communication skills, attention to detail, and a high level of accuracy in numerical analysis\n\nBusiness-level proficiency in English (verbal and written) and native-level in Korean fluency.\n\nMore about us\nABB PURPOSE\nWe enable a more sustainable and resource-efficient future with our technology leadership in electrification and automation\nThe Energy Industries Division serves a wide range of industrial sectors, including hydrocarbons, chemicals, pharmaceuticals, power generation, and water.
