Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis Position reports to:\nSHIFT LEADERYour role and responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to supervise shift team’s progress against work plans as defined by Production management to ensure the proper use of machinery, equipment, and assembly lines within a production area. Each day, you will provide regular feedback and make recommendations to management regarding issues within the production line, including production line organization, shifting priorities, and possible critical situations.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI_Onsite\nThis role is contributing to the Motion business for IEC Low Voltage Division based in Bangalore, India:\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nExecute daily production plans to ensure timely and efficient output. Prepare rotor balancing reports for customer inspections and compliance requirements.\nOperate low-speed and high-speed balancing machines. Manage CNC lathe operations on Machines 1 and 2 for precision machining tasks.\nReview and update Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) to ensure process accuracy and continuous improvement.\nPrepare CAPA, 8D reports, and Root Cause Analysis (RCA) to address and prevent process errors.\nAllocate staff effectively to optimize productivity and workflow. Maintain adequate stock of balancing washers to ensure uninterrupted production.\nSupport the pressing team in achieving production targets. Ensure compliance with safety requirements and prepare and share 5S slides and reports.\nQualifications for the role\nFull time engineering in Mechanical with 2 to 3 years of experience.\nEnsure order posting and process confirmation in SAP.\nEnsures integrity and compliance with ABB values and ethics in all activities across all teams in scope.\nAccountable for the health and safety of all employees and contractors for the teams in scope, and continuous improvement in Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) processes and integrity performance.\nMore about us\nThe IEC Low Voltage Division is a technology leader delivering a full range of energy-efficient low\nvoltage motors, including ultra-efficient solutions such as IE5 SynRM (synchronous reluctance motors).
