As a Site Manager, you play a central role in bringing our engineered solutions to life at customer sites. You combine technical expertise, leadership and a strong hands-on mindset to ensure high-quality installations, smooth commissioning and satisfied customers.\nAs Senior Site Manager, you are responsible for the on-site execution and coordination of automation and electrical works, from preparation until commissioning.\nTasks\nLead and coordinate on-site activities;\n\nCoordinate and supervise the work of external suppliers and subcontractors on-site;\n\nTake ownership of on-site coordination;\n\nOrganize safety introductions for ABB colleagues and subcontractors on site;\n\nOrganize, document and lead toolbox meetings;\n\nEnsure compliance with safety rules and procedures;\n\nAct as the main on-site contact for the customer and other stakeholders;\n\nCoach, guide and supervise a team of technicians:\n\nExplain tasks and technical concepts;\n\nSet priorities to allocate work;\n\nMonitor progress and quality;\n\nProvide on-the-job guidance and feedback;\n\nAct as the bridge between Electrical Engineering and the on-site technicians, ensuring that engineering intent is correctly and efficiently translated into execution;\n\nActively contribute on-site with a hands-on mindset, supporting installation, troubleshooting and commissioning activities when needed;\n\nPerform and support basic commissioning activities, such as IO testing and initial functional validations;\n\nIdentify issues, deviations or improvement opportunities during execution and provide structured feedback to engineering teams to continuously improve design quality and execution standards;\n\nContribute to lessons learned, standardization and best practices across projects.\n\nProfile\nTechnical degree in electricity, electromechanics or automation;\n\nStrong experience in on-site execution of industrial automation, preferably in the intralogistics business;\n\nProven ability to lead and coach technical teams on-site;\n\nStrong technical insight and the ability to read and interpret electrical drawings anddocumentation;\n\nHands-on, pragmatic and solution-oriented mindset;\n\nStrong sense of ownership, safety awareness and quality focus;\n\nGood communication skills and the ability to interact with colleagues, customers and external partners in a professional manner;\n\nComfortable working in dynamic project environments;\n\nTeam player;\n\nWilling to travel and work on-site for the greatest part of the team, in Belgium or abroad;\n\nFluent in Dutch or French with a good knowledge of English;\n\nLive ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.\n\nWe value people from different backgrounds.
