You'll have the opportunity to build your skills, work with experienced colleagues, and contribute to a fast-paced operational environment where accuracy, teamwork, and continuous improvement are valued.\nYour Role and Responsibilities\nIn this role, you'll help run what runs the world by ensuring materials are received, stored, controlled, and delivered efficiently to support business operations.\nExecute warehousing activities including goods receipt, storage, picking, packing, loading, dispatch, and stock replenishment in a safe and efficient manner.\nMaintain accurate inventory and transactional records using SAP and warehouse management systems.\nPerform quality checks on incoming goods and materials, investigating and reporting any discrepancies.\nParticipate in cycle counts and inventory control activities to ensure stock accuracy and integrity.\nMaintain Kanban stock levels and support continuous material availability.\nEnsure the timely supply of components to manufacturing operations to support production schedules.\nBuild effective working relationships with internal customers and collaborate with logistics, shipping, manufacturing, and engineering teams.\nFollow all relevant health, safety, environmental, quality, and compliance standards while promoting ABB's values and Code of Conduct.\nWork model: onsite from St Neots\nQualifications for the Role\nPrevious experience working in a warehouse, stores, logistics, or inventory management environment.\nKnowledge of warehouse operations including goods receipt, storage, picking, packing, dispatch, and stock replenishment.\nExperience using SAP or other warehouse/inventory management systems to maintain accurate stock records.\nStrong attention to detail with the ability to maintain accurate inventory and transactional data.\nExperience conducting stock checks, cycle counts, or inventory control activities.\nUnderstanding of quality checking processes for incoming goods and materials.\nAbility to work safely and follow established health and safety procedures.\nStrong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities and meet deadlines.\nEffective communication skills and the ability to build positive relationships with internal customers and wider business teams.\nAbility to work collaboratively across multiple teams, including manufacturing, logistics, and engineering functions.\nExperience working within a manufacturing, engineering, or production environment - desirable\nKnowledge of Kanban stock control and replenishment processes.\nExperience supporting production or hardware manufacturing operations through timely material supply - desirable\nCounterbalance and/or Reach Forklift Licence - desirable\nUnderstanding of lean warehousing, continuous improvement, or 5S principles - desirable\nFamiliarity with logistics and shipping processes - desirable\nBenefits\nABB offers a comprehensive range of benefits designed to support your wellbeing, development, and lifestyle.\nCompetitive salary\n25 days annual leave plus bank holidays\nCompetitive contributory pension scheme\nLife assurance\nFlexible benefits scheme (including holiday purchase, health assessments, dental and eye care, gym memberships, cycle to work scheme, and retail discounts)\nCareer development and internal mobility opportunities\nEmployee Assistance Programme\nEmployee referral scheme\nMore About Us\nAt ABB, we are dedicated to addressing global challenges.
