Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nSupplier Quality and Development Engineer (SQE/SDE)__\nYour role and responsibilities (Mandatory)\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to lead the execution of supplier assessments, drive both corrective and preventive actions based on supplier maturity and performance levels. Each day, you will manage operational supplier quality, both on-site and off-site, ensuring the thorough execution of supplier qualification and development processes. You will also showcase your expertise by managing the supplier’s Key Performance Indicators (KPIs).\nThe work model for the role is: #LI-OnSite\nThis role is contributing to the Electrification Business in Juarez, Nuevo Leon.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nDriving approval process for supplier parts, materials, and project subcontractor services, as applicable, involving collaboration with other functions/experts, encompassing activities like Production Part Approval Process (PPAP) and product surveillance at supplier manufacturing sites.\n\nLeading in promptly addressing supply issues related to quality, deliveries, non-compliant products, or project services.\n\nWorking together with buyers to engage suppliers and prepare claims cases when necessary.\n\nEnsuring required supplier development processes are thoroughly executed to drive continuous improvement of the supplier base.\n\n Qualifications for the role (Mandatory)\nBachelor’s degree in mechanical, electrical, mechatronics, electrical automation or related engineering.\n\n5+ Year experience in experience working in supplier audits and incoming inspection process.\n\nStrong knowledge of APQP process qualification (Copper, aluminum & coatings), AIAG guidelines & Core Tools (Control Plan, PFMEA, SPC, PPAP, etc.)\n\nCertified auditor ISO 9001:2015 or ISO/TS 16949.\n\nKnowledge in GD&T.\n\nExperience in project management in the quality area.\n\nExperience & knowledge in SAP, Minitab and Power BI desired.\n\nProblem Solving tools / Root cause analysis (8Ds, RCA, 6S, A3).\n\nExperience in Lean Six Sigma.(Green Belt Certification).(Black Belt is a plus).\n\nAdvanced English.\n\nBuilding a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
