Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nSupplier Quality & Quality Assurance Manager__\nYour Role and Responsibilities\nWe are looking for a Supplier Quality & Development Engineer to strengthen our Quality team and drive excellence in our supplier network. You will play a key role in deploying the supplier quality strategy, fostering a culture of quality, and ensuring robust systems, tools, and capabilities are in place to meet and exceed customer expectations. Your focus will be on ensuring supplier performance through prevention, continuous improvement, effective root cause analysis, and sustainable problem resolution. You will collaborate closely with procurement, engineering, and other relevant functions to ensure suppliers meet quality requirements and to support world-class operational performance. Familiarity with international quality standards is essential to ensure compliance and continuous improvement across the supply base.\n- Work model: #LI-Onsite\nIn this role, you’ll help run what runs the world by taking on meaningful work that drives real impact, as you will be accountable for:\nPromoting and sharing the use of ABB Quality Wins preferred techniques for continuous improvement to Suppliers.\n\nPromoting and planning technical audits to Suppliers.\n\nMonitoring the Supplier Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and proactively managing team to promote actions to limit the impact on quality.\n\nPlanning supplier validation and qualification audits and sub-tier suppliers based on Quality Wins and Continuous improvements methodologies and ABB procedures.\n\nPlanning process audits on Supplier New Product introduction (NPI).\n\nDeveloping and maintaining the IQMS Integrated Quality Management System.\n\nQualifications for the Role\nMaster’s degree in engineering (Mechanical, Electrical, Electronics or similar).\n\nYou have at least 2 years of experience in similar role in technical context.\n\nKnowledge of plastic and metallic parts manufacturing process and validation.\n\nKnowledge of quality control processes & Statistical Analysis and “Quality Wins” methodologies.\n\nCommitment to deliver results by taking responsibility to execute assigned tasks and projects.\n\nKnowledge of certification (ISO9001 / ISO-TS).\n\nYou're at ease communicating in Italian and English\n\nPositive thinking, proactivity, team working and empathy are considered as assets.\n\nCompensation Package\nAs part of our commitment to transparency, we want to share the compensation details for this position:\nApplicable CBA: Metalmeccanico\nMinimum annual salary: € 39.000\nVariable Pay: Eligible for Company Productivity Bonus\nThe offer will be tailored based on your role location, experience, skills and qualifications, internal market positioning and alignment with ABB internal standards.\nBenefits as per policy\nFlexible working hours, hybrid work options, and a strong focus on work-life integration and Wellbeing support for employees and their families\nWelfare plan with a wide range of personalized services\nCanteen or meal vouchers provided\nMore about us\nABB Smart Power provides energy distribution solutions for data centers, industrial and manufacturing plants, critical infrastructure and commercial buildings.
