Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis Position reports to:\nTax SpecialistRole Purpose\nThis role is exclusively for Overseas Direct Tax Compliances. The Tax Analyst will support ABB’s Overseras Countries Tax compliances activities by ensuring accurate tax accounting, compliance, and reporting. The role focuses on tax GL management, statutory filings, process standardization, and resolution of tax-related issues in line with local and global compliance requirements.\nKey Responsibilities\n\n Tax Preparation & Filing: Prepare and file WHT,FBT & CIT tax returns, including timely execution of tax payments.\nCompliance & Audit Support: Ensuring all tax filings comply with current laws and assisting with internal/external audits.\nTax Accounting & Reporting: Assisting with quarterly/year-end tax provisions under IFRS or US GAAP under Longview application.\nData Management: Evaluating financial records and preparing tax reconciliation reports. Perform clearing and reconciliation of tax GL accounts as per local and global compliance standards.\nEnsure accurate computation, correction, and maintenance of tax liabilities. Support standardization and continuous improvement of transactional tax processes.\nDevelop and maintain Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), process flows, and work instructions to strengthen process understanding and controls.\nResolve functional tax issues relating to domestic and overseas jurisdictions through strong problem-solving and analytical skills.\nCollaborate with internal stakeholders to ensure alignment with ABB tax governance and compliance frameworks.\nRequired Qualifications & Experience\nBachelor’s degree in accounting, Finance (B.Com) or Master in Commerce (M.Com).\nProfessional or semi-qualified credentials such as CA Inter / CMA Inter / CS Inter / MBA (Finance) are preferred.\n2-4 years of hands-on experience in: o Income Tax returns\no TDS compliance o Tax audits\nStrong working knowledge of MS Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).\nExperience with SAP S/4HANA is preferred.\nExperience with Longview/T2 Tool is preferred.\nExposure to overseas / international tax is an added advantage\nBuilding a cleaner, smarter future takes all kinds of minds: the curious, the courageous, and the creative.
