Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nProject Operations Manager__\nIn this role, the Technical Project Manager leads field-based technical execution of Electrification Solutions projects, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. The Technical Project Manager will ensure contractual commitments are fulfilled on schedule and within budget while maintaining high customer satisfaction. This role leverages your expertise to address challenges, formulate and implement objectives for self and others, and influence both short-term and long-term business goals. This position on occasion may require presence at customers and project sites, with travel as needed to support field activities.\nThe work model for the role is: hybrid (#Li-Hybrid) in Houston, TX, Lake Mary, FL or Mebane, NC.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nLeading the project team, establishing the project execution approach, and overseeing planning, monitoring and control activities for internal and external resources to accomplish all project goals.\nMonitoring and controlling project progress, efficient resource utilization, and project financials.\nIdentifying, qualifying, quantifying, managing project risk, and ensuring all opportunities are identified and pursued.\nDriving the formal acceptance of the project, contract close-out, and acknowledgment by the customer, all in accordance with the contract.\nTravel to customer sites, project locations, and ABB facilities as needed to support project execution.\nQualifications\nDemonstrated commitment to safety leadership and zero-incident culture.\n8+ years of construction/field experience, preferably with electrical systems background.\nCompletion of 2 years of trade school, college, or equivalent journeyman experience.\nAbility to read and interpret blueprints, submittals, specifications, and one-line diagrams.\nWorking knowledge of ATS, UPS, and switchgear systems, with exposure to commissioning and EPMS/SCADA concepts.\nStrong analytical and problem-solving skills with ability for creative issue resolution.\nExcellent oral and written communication skills in English.\nProven experience managing subcontractors, trade labor, and multi-discipline field teams.\nWillingness to travel 50% and as required.\n What's in it for you\nWe empower you to take initiative, challenge ideas, and lead with confidence.
