Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis Position reports to:\nR&D Team LeadAs a Test Automation Lead, you will contribute to the success of the System Test department by delivering high quality, cost effective, product validation testing per the project schedule and requirements. You will formulate test plans and approaches to meet agreed project milestones and targets along with developing innovative test systems and techniques that validates devices and systems under test. You will also ensure individual compliance with standard processes, procedures, practices, and safety requirements. Test Automation Lead is also responsible for mentoring the junior members of the team, help in review , coach for higher performance levels.\nThe work model for the role is: #LI Hybrid \nThis role is contributing to the Process Automation Business of Measurement and analytical Division for Bangalore.\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nDefine and implement the Automation testing infrastructure.\nDesign, develop, and execute both manual and automated tests to validate customer user interfaces with embedded devices.\nResearch, design, build, and implement automated test systems to assist in validation of products.\nEnsure that technical issues found during test execution are reported to the appropriate personnel in a timely manner.\nUtilize various test types and methodologies to drive test planning and execution. Be adaptive to any change involving test processes or tools. Identify methods and solutions for continuously improving test environments and execution.\nFollow risk-based testing strategies by prioritizing test coverage based on high-risk areas. Coordinate and achieve agreement with test leads, development, product managers, and cross functional teams regarding the risk-based strategy approach for all releases.\nQualifications for the role :\nBachelors Degree preferred in an engineering or related field.\nMinimum of 6 years of experience; alternatively, a special combination of education and experience and/or demonstrated accomplishments.\nExperience with developing and executing automated tests for user interfaces.\nExperience with testing embedded and industrial controllers or equivalent systems.\nExperience with Playwright must , also knowledge in Ranorex would be added advantage.\nExperience with at least one of the following Object Oriented programming languages - C#, C++.\nExperience with the Agile development process.\nExperience with Ranorex Studio a plus.\nExperience working closely with multi-functional team (production, production test, customer support, supply chain).\nExcellent written and verbal communication skills with ability to produce clear and concise technical documentation.\nFamiliarity with Flow Computers and Gas Chromatographs a plus.\nMore about Us :\nThe Measurement & Analytics Division is among the world’s leading manufacturers and suppliers of smart instrumentation and analyzers, working at the heart of industrial digital transformation.
