Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nService Operations Manager__\nYour Role and Responsibilities\nIn this role, you will have the opportunity to execute service work with low to medium complexity as per work instructions and in accordance with ABB standard processes, quality standards, and safety guidelines. Each day, you will plan and execute work on a first-time right approach with customers. You will also showcase your expertise by displaying a clear understanding of sense of urgency and care in your own area of responsibility.\nYou will execute service work with MOTR - Traction Team in Valencia, Spain. Reporting to the Service Manager, you will act as the technical point person between customers and extended ABB teams.\nWork model: #LI-hybrid\nProviding on-site or remote technical support for installation and commissioning of equipment and routine maintenance independently, identifies technical problems and makes analysis through remote or on-site activity in Traction Service.\nConsulting and advising customers on the best service solutions in accordance with standard processes, procedures and safety guidelines.\nCreating and maintaining strong relationships with customers, understanding their needs and providing specialist support and solutions.\nInternational travel will be required, as the role will require hands-on support at customer sites.\nLiving ABB’s core values of safety and integrity, which means taking responsibility for your own actions while caring for your colleagues and the business.\nOur teams support each other, collaborate, and never stop learning. Being part of our team means your work matters - because the progress we make here creates real impact out there.\nQualifications for the Role\nA degree in Electrical / Power Electronics engineer or CFGS in similar fields.\n1 year of experience working as Field Service Engineer, with knowledge in measurement technology in the field of power electronics (voltage range up to 4kV) and with IGBT converter technology.\nMedium-high level of English.\nSound knowledge of and hands-on experience in servicing, maintaining, commissioning and repairing of Drives, Traction or Wind Power Converters.\nIndependent, structured and initiative way of working.\nWhat’s in it for you?\nWe empower you to take the lead, share bold ideas, and shape real outcomes.
