Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nCoE-L Manager__\nYour Role and Responsibilities\nWe are now looking for a new Trade and Logistics Specialist to join our team in ABB Motion Center Of Expertise -Logistics (CoE-L) organization in Vaasa. In this role, you will drive operational excellence, support business stakeholders, and lead continuous improvement initiatives to enhance service quality, performance, and efficiency across our global trade and logistics processes.\nThe work model for this role is hybrid, #Li-Hybrid\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nCoordinating and overseeing import and export operations, ensuring timely, accurate, and compliant exchange of trade-related data with customs brokers and other key stakeholders to facilitate seamless cross-border movements\nDeveloping, maintaining, and analyzing trade and customs-related reports, ensuring data accuracy, regulatory compliance, timely reporting, and visibility of key performance indicators\nManaging transportation planning activities by optimizing the utilization of logistics resources, ensuring cost-efficient and service-driven execution of freight movements in alignment with customer requirements and business objectives\nProviding expert trade and logistics support to ABB businesses, delivering high-quality guidance, operational excellence, and continuous improvement across transportation and trade processes\nTaking ownership of LSP invoice validation and freight cost management process, ensuring transportation charges are accurate, contractually compliant, and aligned with purchasing policies and agreed commercial terms\nDriving continuous improvement initiatives across trade and logistics processes, fostering operational excellence through a proactive, solution-oriented, and development-focused mindset\nQualifications for the Role\nBSc. or MSc. level degree from a relevant field, such as industrial management or commercial \nExtensive experience with SAP, GTS, TMS platforms, MS Office\nExtensive knowledge of trade and logistics regulations\nFluency in Finnish and English, both written and spoken\nA team player attitude with good communication and collaboration skills.
