By joining us now, you’ll be part of a pioneering team shaping the future of robotics-working alongside world-class experts in a fast-moving, innovation-driven environment.\nThis Position reports to:\nGlobal Payroll Transformation and M&A LeadTransformation Project Manager (Payroll & ELC)\nAbout the Role\nAs ABB Robotics embarks on its journey as a standalone global leader in automation, we are looking for experienced Project Managers to lead end-to-end payroll system implementation projects across multiple countries as well as local country discovery efforts for Payroll, Employee Life Cycle as well as Time and Attendance. The Project Manager will be responsible for planning, coordinating, and delivering payroll transformation initiatives while ensuring compliance, stakeholder alignment, and successful transition to operations. The role requires strong project management expertise, payroll process knowledge, vendor coordination experience, and the ability to manage cross-functional teams in a fast-paced environment. This role will functionally report to Global Payroll Transformation Lead who will act as an overarching Program Manager. Candidates should be based in China.\nKey Responsibilities\nLead payroll implementation projects from initiation through go-live and stabilization.\nLead local country discovery to support team in understanding current AS IS enviornment and defining TO BE processes\nDefine project scope, objectives, timelines, milestones, and deliverables.\nDevelop and maintain detailed project plans, risk logs, and status reports.\nCoordinate with HR, Finance, IT, Payroll vendors, and business stakeholders.\nManage implementation of payroll systems, coordinate with integrations and data migration leads\nEnsure payroll processes comply with local labor laws, tax regulations, and company policies.\nFacilitate workshops to gather business requirements and document functional specifications.\nOversee testing activities including SIT, UAT, parallel payroll runs, and defect resolution.\nMonitor project budgets, resources, and timelines to ensure successful delivery.\nIdentify project risks and implement mitigation strategies.\nManage communication with executive stakeholders and provide regular project updates.\nSupport change management, training, and transition to business-as-usual operations.\nEnsure post-implementation support and successful project closure.\nCandidate Profile/ Competencies\nWe are looking for a detail-oriented professional who thrives in \"Day 1\" environments and understands the nuances of a shared services landscape.\nBachelor’s degree\n5+ years of project management experience in payroll or HR transformation projects.\nProven experience managing payroll implementations for managed services enviornments\nExperience with Workday as a must-have\nExperience in building Workday to Payroll integrations as a must-have\nExperience with implementation of Strada as a nice-to have\nExperience with divestments as a nice-to-have\nStrong understanding of payroll operations, compliance\nExperience working with cross-functional and global teams.\nStrong stakeholder management and communication skills.\nHigh level of accountability with a proactive, partnership-oriented mindset.\nStrong attention to detail and execution discipline.\nFluent in English.\nFlexible working hours to support global time zones.\nWillingness to travel for workshops and key project milestones.\nWe value people from different backgrounds.
