We are looking for a new colleague complementing our Rotterdam-based team to manage the Cash Management operations of all European, Middle East, Africa and India (EMEA) entities.\nThis is a high visibility, high-impact role that services all of ABB’s divisions via best-in-class Cash Management structures, including our global In-House bank that pays, collects, receives on behalf of local entities.\nReporting to the Operations Manager of the EMEA Center of Expertise of Corporate Treasury based in Rotterdam, Netherlands\nYou will be mainly accountable for:\nLiquidity & Funding Management\nDecide on adequate liquidity levels on country level and ensure timely execution of payment cycles\nBe responsible for the liquidity needs for all EMEA region & Holding entities, managing also restricted countries and non-pooled bank accounts.\nMonitor and adapt short-term financing strategies based on evolving business needs.\nGlobal In-House Bank Operations\nManage the globally operating In-House Bank: Payments, Collections, Receipts on behalf of ABB entities\nOversee cash pool management, including disposition for investments and participant monitoring.\nDecide on and steer the operative fund flows through the Inhouse Bank Continuously optimize the In-House Bank framework and structure (cash allocation rules, interest rates, entity participation).\nHigh Value, High Urgency Payments\nRegularly execute high-value transactions such as M&A closings, dividend payments to all shareholders, and capital injections.\nManage the liquidity of the global share buyback program and other critical financial operations.\nOversee groupwide netting processes, including also all cashless settlements.\nThis is a unique opportunity to professionally grow in a globally operating treasury function, where your actions will shape the cash management strategy of ABB. We offer a dynamic and collaborative culture that values strategic thinking, continuous learning, and professional growth.\n Qualifications for the role\nUniversity degree (Bachelor) in Finance, Banking or Accounting.\nOne to two years of professional experience in treasury function including currency exposure management, cash management, risk management, and financial analysis.\nBackground on cash and liquidity management operations such as cash pools, in-house bank and Inter Company Netting.\nA fundamental understanding in payments infrastructure.\nAdequate analytical skills.\nAbility to effectively adhere to strict deadlines\nTeam Player, proactive mind-set, adaptable to dynamic multicultural environment.\nStrong communication skills.\nFluent in English, other languages are a plus.\nWhat does ABB offer you?\nA versatile and varied full-time job of 40 hours within an international concern.
