Join us and help run what runs the world.\nThis position reports to:\nWarehouse/Internal Logistics Manager__\nThe Distribution Warehouse Supervisor (3rd shift) is responsible for supervising an assigned functional area within the operation that is associated to receiving, order fulfillment, or shipping activities. This role sets clear work priorities, maintains a visible floor presence, removes barriers to safe and timely execution and holds the team accountable for quality, productivity, service, and inventory accuracy.\nThe work model for the role is:Onsite, USA, MS, Byhalia, 442 E. Stonewall Rd\nYour Responsibilities: \n\nPlan and communicate workload, staffing assignments and service priorities; adjust resources as conditions change. \nSupervise warehouse associates complete all daily activities and execute according to schedule and defined procedures.\nUse the WMS to track orders, inventory and labor; maintain accurate records and shift reports.\nTrain/coach Team Leaders so they understand and can execute all assigned duties.\nConduct performance appraisals for hourly associates. \nProvide associates with coaching/counseling as needed and ongoing developmental opportunities.\nConduct daily shift handoff meetings to ensure continuity of operations.\nLead safe work practices, required training, and incident reporting in partnership with site HSE leader.\nActively participate in facility-wide improvement projects.\nYour Background: \n\nMinimum 3 years distribution or manufacturing supervision experience.\nBachelor’s degree - Business, Logistics or related field, preferred. \nExperience with Lean/Six Sigma problem solving tools.\nStrong communication skills (oral and written).\nMust be analytical and well organized. \nMust have strong knowledge of Blue Yonder or other WMS. \nMore about us\n\nABB Installation Products Division (formerly Thomas&Betts), helps manage the connection, protection and distribution of electrical power from source to socket.
