This role is fully onsite and located in our Overland Park, Kansas office.\nOur diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments, and informatics systems is often the first step in patient care decision-making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.\nAs the Account Compliance Coordinator, you’ll have the chance to perform various administrative functions to support federal compliance for DOT-Regulated clients. This includes participation in the client audit process, maintaining appropriate documentation of all compliance and auditing activities on an ongoing basis, and ensuring internal and external audit readiness at all times.\nWhat You’ll Work On\nRespond to inquiries related to testing transactions.\nIdentify and interpret appropriate steps to resolve the need of the customer.\nUse critical thinking skills to review and evaluate client drug and alcohol program files.\nTrack and correct errors on an ongoing basis to ensure the files are sufficient to withstand an audit by federal agencies and/or clients.\nGenerate reports to accompany employer files.\nProvide aggregate data for annual review.\nContact various parties (employers, clinicians, laboratories or er employees) via phone, fax and/or email to secure appropriate documentation.\nSecure memorandums of correction for missing and/or incorrect information.\nProvide backup and clerical assistance for other areas of the department.\nEnter data into computer following each action taken and enter necessary codes to represent the action.\nMake necessary corrections to information entered to ensure problem resolution.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).\nA minimum of 2-3 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree (B.A.) from a four-year college or university.\nProficiency with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and Outlook).\nPrior drug testing knowledge.\nFederal DOT drug testing regulation knowledge.\nAbility to understand and explain general collection, laboratory, and medical review procedures.\nApply Now\nLearn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: https://abbottbenefits.com/\nFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
