Produce and review invoice and purchase order (PO) reports to assist with issue resolution; ensuring the invoice aging report is distributed to key partners. Respond to supplier and divisional inquiries, reconciling invoice statements, and resolving invoice issues.\nWHAT YOU’LL DO\nRespond to escalated vendor, division, or other key partner inquiries related to invoicing and payment processing issues.\nServe as a liaison to Abbott divisions, performing monthly, quarterly, and annual reconciliations of supplier accounts, statements, purchases, and payments as requested.\nCommunicates with supplier accounts receivable and all layers of accounting staff to address disputes, escalating urgent issues to management.\nDocument repetitive PO errors, work with Procurement to establish root causes which result in errors; offer solutions to resolve disputes and implements corrective actions with guidance from management.\nAssist suppliers with resolving purchase order and invoice exceptions and discrepancies.\nPerform quality control related to invoice processing; provide feedback to third-party processor.\nReview and evaluate the invoice aging report; ensure timely distribution to stakeholders and partners.\nSupport customer service by assisting the help desk; resolve critical escalations and provide feedback regarding invoice issue resolution as needed.\nPerform other duties as assigned.\nEDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE, YOU’LL BRING\nExperience Required: 1-3 years of Accounts Payable, Treasury or Finance experience in a large, decentralized organization.\nAdvanced Microsoft Office skills, including Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.\nKnowledge of SAP Financials or other enterprise financial system.\nEducation Required:\nAssociate’s degree in accounting, Business Administration, or other Finance related major; or 60+ hours of post-secondary education is required.\nMisc: This is an onsite role at Abbott location in IL This is not a remote role/opportunity.\nApply Now\nLearn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives:www.abbottbenefits.com\nFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
