He or she will use machine learning, artificial intelligence, statistical modeling, data mining, and visualization techniques to provide analytics solutions to a wide range of challenging projects. As a key leader on the team, the candidate will develop solutions to curate and analyze large quantities of medical data. The candidate will work on projects that provide solutions to internal and external stakeholders. The candidate will collaborate effectively with internal stakeholders and cross-functional teams in India and the US. He or she will present solutions and insights in a concise and effective manner to technical and non-technical audiences.\n\nResponsibilities\nundefined\nStandardize, curate, and extract deep insights from complex clinical datasets\nDesign, develop, and deploy scalable AI, ML, and GenAI applications on the Databricks platform.\nAutomate repetitive business processes, analytics workflows, reporting, and operational tasks using notebooks, workflows, jobs, and AI agents.\nBuild and operationalize machine learning and Generative AI solutions using MLflow, Model Serving, Mosaic AI, and MLOps best practices.\nDesign scalable and maintainable solution architectures integrating Databricks with enterprise data sources and business applications.\nDevelop reusable APIs, libraries, notebooks, and frameworks to accelerate AI solution development.\nOptimize AI applications for performance, scalability, reliability, and infrastructure cost.\nBuild and maintain robust data pipelines, orchestration workflows, and deployment pipelines within the Databricks ecosystem.\nMonitor production of AI applications, models, and workflows to ensure reliability, governance, security, and compliance.\nEvaluate and adopt emerging AI capabilities within the Databricks ecosystem to improve productivity and business value.\nCollaborate with Data Scientists, Data Engineers, Product Owners, and business stakeholders to deliver end-to-end AI products.\nDrive AI engineering with best practices, code quality, testing, documentation, and reusable solution patterns.\n\nMinimum Experience/Training\nundefined\nMinimum 4 years of work experience required, preferably working on GenAI focused projects\nBachelor's degree in engineering or science field (example: biomedical engineering, biotechnology, bioinformatics, biostatistics or similar) with a demonstrable focus on programming and data analysis\nFamiliarity with at least one programming language (Python, PySpark, SQL, R)\nKnowledge of at least one database software preferable but not required (Databricks/SQL)\nFamiliarity with AI tools\n\nWHAT WE OFFER\n\nAt Abbott, you can have a good job that can grow into a great career.
