The position is based in Sylmar, CA.\nWHAT YOU’LL WORK ON:\nFinancial Leadership & Strategy: Partner with Operations Controller, DVP Operations, and DVP Quality organizations to drive achievement of financial objectives and ongoing financial / operational improvements.\nPlanning / Forecasting: Coordinate and manage the CRM Operations financial calendar and workload delegation, ensuring all deliverables are met on time and aligned with stakeholders. \nCapital & Inventory: financial responsibility over CRM divisional inventory and capital.\nFinancial support of the Freight & Distribution network (3 tier I distribution centers and international customer service), hosted by CRM for all ACN business units.\nCompliance & Governance: ensure strict compliance with GAAP, financial regulations, and corporate policies.\nTeam Leadership & Development: hire, train, and develop a high-performing division operations finance team.\nCoordinate the development, evaluation, presentation of annual Operating Plans (annual standard setting), quarterly LBEs, and annual Organic Execution Model (OEM).\nMonthly variance analysis and succinct communication of aggregate performance drivers.\nFinancial Planning & Analysis for divisional operations groups [divisional quality, engineering, and supply chain] and other ad hoc items (tariffs, tax, audit/compliance).\nFacilitate efforts to drive operations gross margin improvement; cost control, efficiencies, and improvement initiatives.\nDrive process improvements / simplifications including driving adoption/incorporation of artificial intelligence (AI) tools into existing workflows.\nREQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nBachelors’ Degree in Accounting/Finance\nWorking knowledge of accounting theory and generally accepted accounting principles.\nDemonstrated leadership skills\nExcellent communication (both oral and written) & interpersonal skills\nMust be results oriented, self-starter/motivated, a strong managerial background with good business sense\n10+ years of management/supervisory experience \nPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:\nMasters’ Degree\nUS CPA\nA background in manufacturing/cost accounting\nAPPLY NOW:\nLearn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: www.abbottbenefits.com\nFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
