As a primary support contact for application end-users, the Associate Application Analyst will work to identify issues that arise in the application area, as well as issues that impact other application teams, and work to resolve them. The Associate Application Analyst will perform impact analysis of desired changes, build and test systems changes, and identify areas of improvement associated with platform performance and opportunities to enable business processes and requirements.\nEssential Duties\nInclude, but are not limited to, the following:\nPartner with Application or Business Analysts to estimate and assess the impact of requested changes to assigned business system/platform.\nParticipate in workflow design, configure and test system changes, and analyze technical issues on low complexity software components using established processes and procedures.\nDevelop an understanding of operational needs and business processes to support the direction for the organization’s workflows; proactively identify opportunities to improve business workflow with technology improvements.\nIdentify issues that arise in the application area as well as issues that impact other application teams, and work to resolve them.\nCreate and maintain system documentation.\nHelp develop, document, and participate in trainings and work with end users.\nDevelop and maintain supporting technical and process documentation and administration.\nTroubleshoot problems and questions and provide regular updates on status.\nProvide end-user production support for issues entered into the issues tracking system.\nPerform routine technical tasks associated to the assigned business/system platform, as needed.\nParticipate in projects, as needed.\nAbility to be flexible with respect to changing end-user business needs.\nAbility to work within a cross-functional team environment and operate in a low complex matrix environment.\nAbility and willingness to take ownership of work activities to ensure that they are done in a timely, accurate, and efficient manner.\nAbility and willingness to recognize assignments or tasks that need to be completed, to seek out additional assignments or tasks, and to help others.\nAbility to communicate information clearly and concisely with project leadership, subject matter experts, and key stakeholders.\nAbility to persevere in difficult situations, overcome obstacles, and reach high levels of performance when faced with stressful work situations and time pressures.\nAbility to learn new software applications, as needed.\nApply strong analytical skills, problem-solving skills, business intuition, and organizational ability.\nApply excellent interpersonal and communication skills.\nAbility to be adaptable, open to change, and able to work in ambiguous situations and respond to new information or unexpected circumstances.\nUphold company mission and values through accountability, innovation, integrity, quality, and teamwork.\nSupport and comply with the company’s Quality Management System policies and procedures.\nMaintain regular and reliable attendance.\nAbility to act with an inclusion mindset and model these behaviors for the organization.\nAbility to work on a mobile device, tablet, or in front of a computer screen and/or perform typing for approximately 90% of a typical working day.\nAbility and means to travel between local Abbott's locations.\nAbility to travel 5% of working time away from work location. May include overnight/weekend travel.\nMinimum Qualifications\nBachelor’s Degree in related field as outlined in the essential duties; or High School Diploma or General Education Degree (GED) and 4 years of relevant experience as outlined in the essential duties in lieu of Bachelor’s Degree.\nBasic computer skills to include Internet navigation, email usage, and word processing.\nProficient in Microsoft Office programs.\nDemonstrated ability to perform the essential duties of the position with or without accommodation.\nAuthorization to work in the United States without sponsorship.\nPreferred Qualifications\nExperience developing, supporting, or configuring technology solutions, either through coursework in higher education or in an application analyst or project
