You will have access to:\nCareer development with an international company where you can grow the career you dream of.\nA company recognized as a great place to work in dozens of countries around the world and named one of the most admired companies in the world by Fortune.\nA company that is recognized as one of the best big companies to work for as well as a best place to work for diversity, working mothers, female executives, and scientists.\nThe Opportunity\nAs the Shift Associate Chemist, responsible for ensuring all testing activities are carried out in a safe and productive manner.\nAssures compliance with in-house and/or external specifications and standards, such as GMPs, Class A and ISO regulations.\nMay be required to do GMP/GLP training.\nAssists in method transfers, equipment qualification, troubleshooting and determining root cause for quality issues on production floor.\nAlerts engineering and operations to conditions that may adversely impact the customer experience.\nAssist in batch corrections and lab investigations.\nResponsible for audits, incoming quality assurance, and feedback and reporting.\nWhat You’ll Do\nProvide testing, result reviewing, equipment calibration and maintenance as well as analytical services to Plant Operations to ensure seamless and smooth process operations.\nAll operations in the Analytical Laboratory are carried out in a safe and productive manner, adhering to GMP/GLP and ISO/IEC 17025 standards at all times.\nDevelop and apply procedural knowledge of work area.\nTypically acquired through on-the-job training.\nDevelops a working knowledge of how own activities integrate with the work of the team.\nUses information-gathering skills.\nAssignments require judgment with decision-making.\nReceives minimum supervision for all work.\nOrganizes and completes tasks according to assigned priorities.\nDemonstrates an awareness of the relative urgency of tasks and responds \naccordingly.\nExchanges and verifies job-related information to provide support.\nComply with all Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs), hygiene rules, and sanitation standards.\nProvide training for new hires and analysts.\nAny other duties assigned by supervisor.\nRequirements\nDegree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Food Technology or related discipline, or Diploma with at least 1 to 3 years of experience.\nPreferably 1 year experience in a chemistry laboratory testing environment, or an equivalent combination of education and work experience.
