The role analyzes trade and operational data, conducts compliance reviews and audits, maintains classification and country-of-origin records, and supports customs inquiries and corrective actions.\nReviewing import, export, and FTZ transactions for regulatory compliance.\nConducting audits, identifying compliance risks, and recommending corrective actions.\nMaintaining tariff classifications, country-of-origin determinations, valuation data, and trade records.\nSupporting customs activities such as RFIs, post-entry amendments, and regulatory inquiries.\nPartnering with logistics, supply chain, procurement, operations, and freight forwarders to ensure compliant trade activities.\nPreparing reports, analyzing data, and driving process improvements and cost-saving opportunities.\nEscalating compliance issues and supporting implementation of corrective actions.\nStrong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.\nAdvanced Excel proficiency.\nAbility to determine HTS classifications and assess Section 232 tariff applicability.\nAbility to review commercial invoices, packing lists, and country-of-origin documentation for compliance and reject non-compliant supplier documentation when necessary.\nExperience with compliance reviews, auditing, data analysis, and working across cross-functional teams.\nRequired Qualifications\nBachelor’s degree or an equivalent combination of education and work experience\nIntermediate Microsoft Office Skills with proficiency in Excel\nAbility to work across teams and time zones possessing organization and planning skills to simultaneously handle a variety of complex matters under the pressures of a deadline\nStrong financial skills and understanding of how to read and use government regulations\nProficient with statistics and analysis\nPreferred Qualification\nRelated experience in trade compliance, supply chain, logistics, finance, or related field.\nLearn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives:www.abbottbenefits.com\nFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
