This role is fully onsite and available in both our Overland Park, Kansas and Richmond, Virginia offices.\nOur diagnostic solutions are used in hospitals, laboratories, and clinics around the globe. The crucial information derived from our tests, instruments, and informatics systems is often the first step in patient care decision-making for hundreds of health conditions from heart attacks to blood disorders to infectious diseases and cancers.\nAs the Business Support Coordinator, you’ll be responsible for several functions that support our clients including scheduling onsite collections, coordinating and following up on post-accident and reasonable suspicion testing, and random testing.\nWhat You’ll Work On\nAddress client needs as they occur; demonstrate strong sense of customer service.\nFind and communicate with contractors to complete collection events.\nWork with warehouse team to ensure contractors have necessary supplies to complete all scheduled events.\nAct as liaison between contractors and accounting to ensure timely and accurate payment of contractor invoices.\nIdentify clients and collection network providers that require additional attention or problem resolution and communicate these issues to the appropriate member of management.\nNegotiate pricing on a case-by-case basis for each collection event as needed.\nSchedule emergency collections on an as needed basis for external clients and follow up to ensure timely and accurate reporting of test results.\nRequired Qualifications\nHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED).\nA minimum of 2-3 years of related experience or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.\nStrong verbal and written communication skills.\nPreferred Qualifications\nPrior drug testing knowledge.\nFederal DOT Drug Testing regulation knowledge.\nBasic understanding of pricing and profitability.\nEffective written and spoken communication.\nIntellectual curiosity and the passion to learn.\nAbility to multitask and complete each task in a timely manner.\nApply Now\nLearn more about our health and wellness benefits, which provide the security to help you and your family live full lives: https://abbottbenefits.com/\nFollow your career aspirations to Abbott for diverse opportunities with a company that can help you build your future and live your best life.
